They seen to be questioning if DRS will remain in later seasons, but even with it, some tracks are very difficult to overtake on.
Even if the track was made wider, there will still be ONE racing line, and the treacherous marbles off the line - maybe pressure to develop non-shedding tyres would be a solution |

Re: 2017 Formula 1 Season Thread
This is getting interesting if this report is true.
Renault have told Red bull they don't wish to supply them with engines after 2018, this means they may endup using Honda as their engine supplier. http://bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/41265779 |
Re: 2017 Formula 1 Season Thread
The story I read this morning on Mail thinks that with Toro Rosso being supplied by Honda from 2018 that Red Bull will be using them too. However, with Honda being so useless for McLaren what makes Red Bull think they will be any better than Renault engines?

Singapore GP
Carnage at the start! Off the start, the Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel sandwiched the Red Bull of Max Verstappen and all three make contact. The fast-starting Raikkonen hit Verstappen and speared sideways into his team-mate. Raikkonen then continued in a damaged car and collected Verstappen again at Turn One. They then collect Fernando Alonso in the secondary collision. All three men are out. Safety car is out Ferrari are blaming Vertapeen :D That like not blaming a puppy sitting next to a pile of poo Oh and Lewis wins, and has a 28 point lead. Vettel and Rikkonen to blame, even if you're blind you can see that. |
