Saw this in my (very) youth at Farnborough. Eight Lightnings in a staggered take off then going vertical (although the link says six, count them!)...

I wonder whatever happened to the three flying lightnings (one T5 and two F6) which belonged to Thunder City in SA before it went bust in 2011??

Magnifico Post..Thanks.

I've only on one occasion seen a Vulcan in real life flight & that was by accident, my car had broken down about 3 miles from RAF Valley.

While under the bonnet this most magnificent aeroplane did a fly by over head, I'm not sure if it landed or a touch & go on the runway but OMG those engine rattled my head for ages. :)
