That has nothing to do with adding subscription channels , your merely pointing out they have capacity and added 48 temporary FTA channels (24 HD , 24 SD)

I am afraid to say you have missed off the £10 charge for ESPN (£13 if people, like me, don't have sky sports.) That is, of course, only relevant if people who enjoy ESPN currently would want to keep ESPN!

I'm glad someone read my post as it was meant rather than turning it into another pointless VM vs Sky battle. That's a good point as well Harry about ESPN this is another excellent offer from VM and as you indicate extra cost with Sky.
