That's because you no-longer subscribe to their paid-for service. Exactly the same as would happen if you left Sky and then tried to watch, say, Sky1 or Sky Living.

If you paid £249 for a Sky box you've been robbed, they're free we'll your fist main box is free and you first multi room box is also free. An if you don't want the record feature all your following multi room boxes will be free also.

The 1Tb box cost £249 and installation when I last compared prices.

This has turned into another pointless stupid thread , one companies pricing/package will suit some were others it wont , there's no wrong or right answer here it's personal choice. I choose Sky because with three TV's 42" or larger I want the majority of my content in HD , I have no need for super fast broadband other people are the opposite to me have no need for HD and require fast BB. Basically you can only ever choose a platform on your individual requirements , that's the beauty of choice.
