Good grief - the man is overpaid to bash a ball with the gut of a cat. His absence really isn't so important that a nation will overturn a whole set of rules and regulations put it place to maintain public safety.

Patrick McEnroe, posted a letter on Twitter, it stated that for a medical exemption it had to be submitted by the 10th, 6 days before he tested positive and still carried on as normal.

He was seen at an event on the 17th.

Slam dunk for an immediate deportation.

If he had any sense (which seems debatable) he would just leave anyway.
Hes already made himself look a complete pratt, and each day makes it worse.

If he were somehow able to get his visa, it wont go down well, and will likely cause trouble at the event.

How on earth is Farage involved with a dispute between a Serbian tennis player and the Australian border force?

The Australian Border Force are part of the Australian immigration system, under the remit of the Home Affairs department - they ensure compliance with, and enforcement of, the immigration system and policies.

The main authority in enforcing Australian immigration law and policy is Home Affairs. All visa applications are processed by Home Affairs, either in Australia or throughout a network of embassies and High Commissions. The Australian Border Force (another body within the Home Affairs profile) was established on 1 July 2015 and serves as the front-line operational enforcement entity, focusing on investigations, compliance and detention operations.

No Hugh.

“Border Force” I’m sure are there to implement ”immigration policy” not set it.

Farage, was advocating an Australian style immigration policy, not their border enforcement controls.

Hope that helps?

I dont think he's trying to emigrate to Australia.

As to Farage, hes just using it for publicity I expect.
