With BT's contract up next summer they might be looking at alternatives should they not get an agreement to keep BT Sport in the top TV pack

Someone has asked Freesports on twitter about the channel on VM

@FreeSportsUK

Hi Peter best to contact Virgin directly and request the channel, as they usually listen to customer feedback. Thanks.

Any company that does not listen to customer feedback is doomed IMO.

They have done this before with Comedy Central (It has it own material) and Hayu

I took a look last night and it looked professional, it even had continuity!

I find it odd that they started at 10pm though, the peak time for TV viewing is from 9pm, so why not start it earlier :confused:

Just a guess, but probably because most channels use the 9pm slot for their popular shows and clashing with all those shows wouldn't get many viewers.

And they don't have many exclusives to promote anyway.

Only one of them is available to lower tiers normally (Ash Vs Evil Dead, probably because horror is more niche and so they opened it to wider audience)

The dream is over den! No Fox News! No gentle laughter at strange absurd Americans ranting and raving

Devastated

Though something is dodgy about it. Sky are lying about the viewing figures they're higher than they are saying. I think this is connected to murdochs bid for all of sky tv. Maybe they're taking murdochs Fox News away to basically say "nah we won't be influenced by murdoch style news Fox News is shut!"

Sounds dodgy. It's on the BBC anyway but yes explains everything. Found a lovely program called bluestacks though on the pc a sort of android for pc. Very useful

End of an era lads. End of an era

Fox News is a '*' channel in the figures which is 'Where * is shown, the figures are small but not zero.', so not a great number of people were watching.
