starship troopers

I watched this film for the first time last night, and this has probably been said before, but hasnt Halo taken most of its stuff from this film? :spin:

The guns, the look of the ships, buildings, the whole capture the flag moment, the blue alien things shooting off into the atmosphere, some of the bugs etc.

ALthough the movie was crap, perhaps if they made the game it could have done well seeing that halo is so much the same as it ?

tbh, StarCraft reminded me more of Starship Troopers.
