I enjoy playing on my PS2 but there are games on the X Box and Gamecube that i like playing for example

1. Sonic Mega Collection
2. Super Smash Bros Melle
3. Beach Spikes

So the PS2 isn't that bad but the games listed above will never be able to compete with the PS2 games of the future.

Odd tho, I thought that people who owned a PS/2 would post here and people who own an X-Box would post in the X-Box forum.... People with both can post in either but would be unlikely to 'slate' their own console.

I realy don't care about the differences bnetween X-Box and PS/2. I have a PS/2. If I want to play X-Box games, I'll buy them for my PC and play them properly.

Now, enough with the comming over here to start on the PS/2 you X-Boxers!!!

but in regard to your point [Stuart] about playing xbox games on the PC properly,

what about games like Moto GP? The precise analogue sticks of the box can not be matched for that game. Full Stop. It was designed for it ... ergo.....

No PC pad or stick can make up for that....


and what about Project Gotham? THE best racing game. Gonna play that on yer pc? :)

True say though, most PC to Xbox ports are obviously better on the PC, e.g Morrowind, SoF 2, etc etc

Sonic is coming out on PS2 soon :)

You forgot to mention Halo. As far as I can tell, MS have been bending over backwards to try and prevent that game ever hitting the PC. It looks like they've finally given in.

I've got a whole bunch of friends who traded their PS2s in for XBoxs, having been seduced by the Dark Side into believing that graphics and sound take priority over gameplay.

I bought a second-hand XBox with five games a short time ago (and kept my PS2). After trying those five games, I traded four of them in: Halo was the only one I kept, and I got Rallisport Challenge and Kung Fu Chaos to keep it company.

Halo is an awesome game, however I haven't switched the XBox on for a couple of weeks, because of SOCOM, and a nostalgic week playing GTA3 :-)

Now, of course, I have a dilemma. When a multi-platform game comes out, which console do I buy it for? I've currently got that problem with Enter The Matrix (Sigh).
