[edit] of course the above line speed should say 1Mb connection this was a typo, but seen as how i am constantly having speed problems i will leave it as 1b :P

Hey - that's nothing.
I was once billed £500 in one month for having had ntl services - apparently, according to their computer, since 1905! :)

Ours used to be similar, but instead of the Disney channels we used to have the OAI at £7.50. Came to a tidy sum of £75.49, or £905.88 a year :disturbd: :disturbd:

Over £1700 per annum.:Yikes:

Family +Sports+movies
2nd STB
Radio Times
600kBB
2nd phone line with TU24 +call barring+voicmail
And I still didn't get the free headphones promised last year when I moved to TU24. (not that I really need them):)

Yeah, it was meant cheekily, not seriously.

Of course not all ntl CS staff are like that... just the ones I have to deal with...

I don't think £8.99 would make a big dent in it :D

Ok, at the moment, I got:
Base pack TV (free phone line): £20
Broadband (512k): £25
T.P.Y - £540

Hopefully, I will have soon:
BT Line: £12
ADSL: £25 or
ADSL: £30

T.P.Y - £444 or £504 (depending of what speed I get)

The other option I have is:
BT Line: £12
ADSL: £25 (or £30)
Sky: £40 first month (to get £1 installation), then £20 afterwards.
T.P.Y - £924 or £984 (depending of what speed I get)

Now that I think of it!!!!

We pay a minimum of £82.99 per month. That equates to £995.88 per year!!!

The calculation above is based upon:

Broadband (600k) = £24.99
Family TV Pack = £10.00
Base Pack and Phone Line = £18.00
2nd & 3rd STB = £30.00 (£15 each)

I think we should all be given shares in NTL!! :)
