View Full Version : Gamecube selling out in the states!!
http://cube.ign.com/articles/496/496002p1.html
console sales will not feed market share for games, remember each of the consoles manafacturers lose out on income from the console, game sales tell the real story, you also have to realise when the cube was not selling well i doubt many stores had much inventory to sell, then nintendo didnt hold much stock themselves ....

Nintendo the only one that doesn't lose money from selling consoles :D

OK, so let me get this straight..
Nintendo stoppped production last Summer (June IIRC).
Nintendo cut prices in September.
The Gamecube is sold out in 50%of stores around 6 months after production stopped.
This is a sign of success how exactly? Even the Dreamcast sold faster than that.

Actually Production has resumed on the NTSC boxes mind you.

Not saying it hasn't. I was just saying they must have had a hell of a lot of unsold stock..
