I know you can get ethernet to usb converters can you get usb to enet ? All help mucho appreciated some links would be super too :D

I can confirm that they work but, given the option, I would always go for a real NIC - it probably uses far less CPU power than going via USB.

A generic nic card is £10 up the road.
