There is a thread (http://www.nthellworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=726&highlight=desktop) batting around with various people using the samurize software available from : http://www.samurize.com

How's about people post their creations (graphics/icons/scripts/inis)? :)

Perhaps I'm just being lazy, but you guys (and gals) have done some pretty cool stuff

Quality product once you get into it...
Found the following link helpful:
http://www.deskmod.com/?show=showcat&cat_name=samurizescripts

The "ExternalIP" script from the www.samurize.com site is great (shows your external IP address) if you have a router with private addressing client side.

Site isn't working for me at the moment. Will have a go at it later though, looks smashing.

Hopefully intend to release my first script etc. to this forum soon...Just building another PC for a mate at present and thought it would be nice to stick it in his startup to remind him that he owes me a pint  or

It took a while but attached is the first script...
You'll need to amend yourpcname in the Tricky.ini file to match your hostname...
Unzip files into correct directories as held in the ZIP
The Tricky.INI needs to go into the configs directory

I also used the following fonts "LCD DISPLAY GRID" & "DIGITAL DREAM FAT" available from:
http://www.abstractfonts.com/fonts/

Enjoy - If anyone wants to code the InternalIP better then please let me have a copy!

The problem with releasing scripts i found was getting all the neccesary parts in the right place, and using external programs for feedback, would require you to go into the script and change all sorts of settings.

http://www.deskmod.com/?show=showskin&skin_id=25925

can anyone get that script to work? its very comprehensive BUT! doesnt even load up in the editor.

The graphics/scripts/etc. are not included in the MARK3.1.zip file, I know the calendar and weather scripts are available but i've not got them working as yet...

Normally Samurize would be installed in C:\program files\samurize
This has four directories:
--Configs (Your INI files go in here)
--Icons (Haven't a clue what this is for?!)
--Scripts (Put your VBS scripts in here) VBScript in case you didn't no
--Skins (various graphics examples)

I created a directory under the Configs directory to place my graphics in there (see my ZIP)
My scripts need to be in the Scripts directory
