eidos have announced that championship manager 5, will be released later this year under a new development team.

eidos own the name, sigames own the player database and game code.

so it will be a diffarent game, as sigames is NOT with eidos anymore.

Hmmm, let's just hope that Eidos manage to resolve the issues that came bundled with CM 03/04 - I can't cope with another load of swearing cos CM crashed halfway through a match/beginning of the season/before so-and-so signed/etc.

CM 03/04 is too damn bug-ridden & support from SI Games has been crap to say the least, I really hope that CM5 improves on that :)

There's quite a few people for whom the game apparently randomly crashes, in the middle of a match, or halfway through processing - it has been suggested it's a problem with overheating/nVidia gfx cards, & upgrading to the latest patches has no effect :/ Seeing as SI Games are no longer making CM, they're quite disinterested in fixing this problem :/

The SI Games forums have had countless "Help!" messages for months, along with people trying to offer solutions (eg I stood on my head while I loaded the CD & got it to play 3 consecutive games ;) )

Anyway, am seriously glad you don't have any probs with CM03/04 - it's damn frustrating ;)
