Have been told one of our mail addresses it not working and when I try to send to it myself I get this:

This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason:

The user(s) account is temporarily over quota.

<*****@ntlworld.com>

Please reply to Postmaster@ntlworld.com

if you feel this message to be in error.

I've emailed Tech Support, but surprise, surprise, no reply......

There is no more room in the inbox of the addressie that you are sending to. They need to remove some emails from their inbox.

Sounds like the mailbox is full up. Either use your mail client to download the mail, or if you have check the trash folder when you access it via the webmail. When you delete mails from the webmail, it does not actually delete them, instead it places it in the trash folder and takes up space. I had similar probs, and emptying the trash fixed it.

as posted , bear in mind this is an ntl full message not an outlook express full message , you need to go to webmail and delete there as hatrick posted :)

No. Im sure the customer wont be very happy when NTL remove the emails from their inbox without asking if they are important or not.

Set up the account in outlook express and it shall download all the emails of the server anyway. Easy - Peasy.

But why doesn't Outlook do this?
