Does anyone use ids software ?

I used to use snort and I found it pretty good - Very good positive rate...

I must admit that I hardly bother checking the logs on the syslog these days.

If this scanning/probing continues users are going to need a hdd to store the log files !!!!!!

I keep thinking about snort. Would be interested to hear what else is out there and people's opinions of them. At the moment I use nukenabber for irc.
