What else do i need to get my ps2 online apart from network adaptor,i havre ntl broadband 150k and that is connected via ethernet.any help appreciated!!


also if you could direct me to a PS2-ICS guide would be much appreciated

Quick answer AFAIK is simply disconnect the PC and reconnect the PS2 using the RJ45 then reboot the modem so it recognises the change then reverse this process when you want to go back to the PC.

To use ICS all you would need would be a second NIC for the PC and a Crossover "Patch" RJ45 cable to link the PC and PS2. Then simply run the ICS wizard in windows to share the connection. NB when set up this way the PC has to remain on while the PS2 is on-line.

Cant find where I shoved my list of links for the detailed info but I'm sure someone else will oblidge soon and correct any errors in what I have said above.

Other option to consider though would be using a router either cabled or wireless if you want to use the PS2 independantly anywhere in the house.
