You're either gonna love this or think it is sad.
Hornby have announced a device that allows you to play Scalextric over the Internet. The article I read is a bit vague, so I am not entirely sure what form it will take.
It sounds like a device that plugs into the track and controls a physical car in much the same way as a human controller would though.
The other end of the device plugs into a PC. Hornby haven't said whether Broadband would be needed though.
