View Full Version : Volume Output level on ntl box -- How do i change it??

Does anyone know if there is any way to change the output volume of my ntl box? the level is so much lower than my video and dvd player it is gettin on my nerves!

no, but does your TV allow you to alter the levels for each av input individually. Thats how i got around the problem

you can. Reboot the box, and hold the UP and DOWN keys on the front of the box. When the blue engineer's screen comes up, scroll through the pages using left and right, and on there is the Volume Control.

Yup, I dont know if you remember the old Sound Clipping & distorting thread on .com, but it seems as though this fixing of the sound levels was the result of a software upgrade (something to do with prep for CR3 IIRC).
