Anyone else in Glasgow having problems with the phones? My phone wont dial out and everyone i phone on my mobile gets a network busy tone!!

Think it was pop idol, mines fine now, wouldn't work earlier.

Probably was yeah... no doubt ntl failed to anticipate demand... :)

Switch congestion has been a big problem for ntl in the past.

They lost a very large prestige business customer in Cardiff because of this problem a few years ago, ntl generally suffer more with switch congestion than BT because they have all their eggs in one basket, BT usually have a greater number of smaller switches spread about.

As theres almost zero budget for upgrades things can only get worse if they keep adding extra customers. :rolleyes:

Ever tried to make a phone call shortly after the bells at new year?! impossble! My Virgin, Orange, and BT line all worked perfectly :)
