View Full Version : Any Speed Issues in Northampton?

I've just moved to East Hunsbury and the ADSL speed is shocking. Currently signed up with Pipex but geting all sorts of grief so thinking of cancelling and going down the NTL cable broadband route.

I'm interested in the 10mb option, but am concerned about what speed I will actually get? With ADSL, I was quoted 2.5mb and at best, I get 1mb. Is it the same for cable? "Upto 10mb"?

What I'm asking, is if anyone else in Northampton is an NTL broadband customer and if so, what is the speed like?

I'm connected to the Hardingstone (http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange.php?ecode=EMHARDI) exchange.

Thanks in advance.

Hi.

I am in Great Billing and I get on average anywhere between 6 and 9Mb on my 10Mb connection it very rarely dips below 6Mb though.

10Mb consisently would be even better though!!!
