Hi,

Im currently on the 4mb package however Im wanting to upgrade to 10mb if I upgraded now online via their site when will I actually be put on 10mb? Also when will I be charged 10mb?

Will I be put on 10mb almost instant and then pay the £34.99 at the next billing date (which is due on 1 Oct)?

Cheers!

If you have a modem you should be on it pretty much instantly after a modem reboot. Your bill will be adjusted from today's date if you do it today.

So does that mean if I change it today it charges my direct debit today (the £34.99 now) and changes it so it takes the amount on the 6th of every month now, even though I just paid 5 days ago?

No it means your bill will be adjusted, so for example you will pay 5days of £24.99 and the rest will be part of £34.99 and then the month after it'll just be £34.99 instead of £24.99.

Basically the bill for this month will be a little less than £34.99. Thats if Ntl don't cock it up.
