Auto Registration Problem

Hello Cable Forum people,

Been reading your posts with interest over the past couple of weeks and decided to take the plunge and get an NTL 10Mb service.

It was installed at lunchtime today.

Following all the cable forum online instructions, everything was going well until I got to the end of the auto registration process.

The message I get is.. "Unable to register your cable modem until the order has been completed"

Any ideas?

I have spoken to technical support and they kept asking for an error code (there was not one, just the message above). They have escalated the problem and told me to try again in 24 hours when it will defintely work. I am obviously not convinced.

Has anyone seen this before?

Yep, know exactly what this problem is and takes all of 10 seconds to sort out :rolleyes:

Just tried registering again and it worked this time.
