Internet slow...

Hey,

Last couple days my Internet connection has been really slow, when I play online games my ping is 80+ normally its around 20. Is anyone having the same problems?

Users can experience issues for all sorts of reasons, they are usually local to you or perhaps neighbourhood.

It might help if you say which area you are in, whether you connect by modem or set top box, use a router, etc.

I live in london - hayes. I am connect to the modem by a router.

Nothing is showing as a fault on Telewest, so this will be local to your network or something that has changed on your own PC.

Always worth checking your PC is free of virus and spyware type stuff. I'd give your router and modem a reboot.

If you connect your PC direct to the modem, not via the router, is it any better.
