About to buy myself a pressy or two (new Canon digital cameras) and cameras2u.com comes out favorably on pricerunner.

Never heard of them myself, so before sending them £500+ I wondered if anyone on here had any experience of them.

TIA

Others are happy enough with them.

A mixed experience really for me.

I bought a camera for my ex girlfriend 2 years ago, I ordered at noon, recieved a call from them 2 hours later to confirm some details. It arrived the next day, I was well impressed.

However.........

I recently advised a friend of mine to buy from them, based on my own experience. They ordered, hoping it would arrive before they went to the Lake Distict for a couple of days, 6 days later (although that did include the weekend). It failed to arrive, and indeed, had still not arrived on their return. So after 9 days in total, they phoned them, and was told it would be sent by overnight courier. Had they not phoned, who knows how long it would have taken them. They are happy with the purchase, but feel let down with the delivery.

HTH.
