Use simple no brand jif/cif cream cleaner with a little wash, rinse then dry with a towel. Those foam scrubbers are usefull as well but its the cream cleaner that does the work and lifts out the dirt.

Always test on a bit you can't see first and make sure an adult is present ;)

A small bottle of this came with our fridge-freezer: http://shop.bshappliancecare.com/product.asp?catalog_name=BSH&brand=Neff&category_name=Cleaning+%26+Care+Products&product_id=310359&MSCSProfile=3C79F0C7EA3162B289A6F3317CC124D836B416 F640083A80ACC5A20CC7A5F0EE8B4A767CDF12BBB26D32A23C 61DB4B824F86BBD5F6CD02CAC9AF018984933CB41FB687C17B 3113B4420D944FDA6E8DD67125226BBB67A4DD1776C2330FDA 496CDD38147F723DCFCFCBCFB7FDBD08B280CB8B145B4D1695 3048A4ABF7FD4F265E7F568EB4405BB54F

It works a treat and has lasted years.

But it looks like baby oil, so maybe that's a cheaper alternative.

Vegetable oil is cheaper still & works a treat on stainless steel cooker tops.

I've cleaned Tea spoon using Coke (Cola that is, NOT the powder type) and they come up a treat, What must it be doing to your insides??

WD works well with sticky residues.

Having cleaned many many cookers/ washers etc in my old job as a washer repair person.

1 wash down with soapy water and jif/cif.
1 rinse down with clean water.
Dry with a old towel/ tea towel.

Job done. Results = like new.

the hydrochloric acid in your stomach is more concentrated than the phosphoric acid in the Cokeâ ¾Ã‚¢, I wouldn't worry :)
