BB installation connection

Hi

With regards to ntl`s BB installation does the cable feeding the modem connect to the white box (inside) or the grey box (outside). I have ntl`s digital TV service in the installation room already and intend to locate the BB modem there as well. I would prefer the signal to be split at the white box as this would avoid any additional wiring, drilling etc. Is this possible? Would appreciate any comment.

It is normal for the cable to be split somewhere after the white box inside the house. The place of the split will be decided by taking into account the location of the tv and modem, and will be placed in somewhere hidden (if possible) which requires as little cable to be run as possible.
