Hi Edward, welcome to the forum... AFAIK NTL only do 1mb, 4mb (used to be 2mb) and 10mb (used to be 3mb) Give them a call!

Had exactly the same problem as you. Had the option to stay on 512K unlimited or go to 1Meg capped at the end of last year, so stayed on the unlimited. But recieved letter saying it would change to 1Meg unlimited by the end of April this year. Had to phone up in the end, due to one part of the account not being updated automatically. Had it all sorted within 10 minutes via a call to NTL.:)

Well you know where bulldog broadband is! Enquire today at www.bulldogbroadband.com (http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/)

They also offer a pay-as-you-go metered service which is broadband charged per minute. Email and Account servicing is free though. There are no download caps and you are not charged for downloads. People who tend to use the internet at evenings or weekends for 2 hours or less every 1 to 3 days should choose this product as it works out cheaper as you only pay for what you actually use. Furthermore, it gives you up to 8meg and a great value phone service.

Phone services:

Free calls between bulldog users. £1.50 per month for each calling feature or £5 for all of them, free voicemail,ÂÂÂ £10.50 per month line rental, £12.50 talk unlimited plan, mobile calls from as little as 4.5p per minute and daytime landline calls for as little as 2.5p per minute without call connection charges.

Cheaper than BT and TalkTalk gauranteed.

Other packs include anytime plus for those who want up to 8meg with unlimited downloads for £14.99 and up to 16meg for £19.99. Those plans are unlimited and is unmetered.

Telewest offers 2mb broadband for £17.99, so why the hell is NTL's so much slower, £17.99 is so bad value.
