1 mb to 2mb upgrade

If/when this upgrade takes effect, will it be automatic or will I need to reboot my CM ?

Often you have to reboot your modem, but not always. :)

I have a PACE stb will that require changing ? If so will I have to request it or will it just happen ?

i just got official notice of 1mb to 2mb upgrade from NTL this morning through the post. free upgrade, we dont have to do anything, and should be complete by end of October. i am on the 3 for £30 deal so i will have unlimited 2mb broadband for £10. i think thats a good deal!!

There has to be some co-ordination, as they'd waste a hell of a lot of time if they just sent vans out with a load of SACMs or Samsungs to install. Probably have to request it, as that way, they can leave out anyone who couldn't care less.

I thought the old PACE boxes could not cope with the 2 megs
