NTL Business Broadband - is a speed upgrade coming soon?

I'm looking to get NTL Business Broadband for my office, but currently the maximum speed is 1.5Mb down / 256k up. I have heard rumours that this speed is going to be upgraded to 8Mb soon - does anyone know when this will be and what the upload rate will be?
