Caller Display repeatedly stops working

I have always had the Caller Display option on my NTL phone line. Over the last couple of years, this feature has stopped working a number of times - I would estimate 5-6 times. It seems to take NTL anything from a few minutes to several days and repeated calls to CS to get it fixed, and sometimes even requires an engineer to do something at the cabinet. Am I just unlucky, or do other people have problems with this service?

My caller display seems to have stopped working too at the moment but it would probably cost me more than the monthly charge for caller display to ring up and report it, and thats probably the idea!
