should be ok.. in car MP3 is DEFINITELY a bonus... I have the Kenwood KDC-MV6521 which is a godsend... Cost me £250 though lol...

Sony are ok, but have a tendency these days to sell & price more on the sony name than the quality of the equipment fitted. your best bet, as with all purchases these days is to google the model number with the word "problem" after it... it usually tells you any common faults / complaints about the model.

mp3 players for the car are bloody brilliant. Can have so much music in your car without needing to switch cd's all the time.

The mp3 players all seem much of a muchness. If you get alot of wma's it might be worth getting one which plays them. Personally I can quite happily live with mine which players mp3's

This is the one I got http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1986 from a great company. Good advice over the phone, sent me right tools for my car and everything they promised they delivered. It was sold out when I ordered mine and I still got it without a few days.

I'd definately recomend having a look around car audio direct.

The Kenwood I got came with the right connectors to fit my car. Which considering its 8 years old I was surprised about. Also got the tools sent to remove my old radio. My Kenwood cost £150 when I got it about 6 months ago, its down to £130 now though, a great machine if I say so myself :)

Looks like quite a good deal you are getting btw as that radio is £140 at car audio direct.

If you want a really cheap one, how about this Shark one from Maplin for £74.99: http://www.maplin.co.uk/products/module.asp?CartID=031208161850234&moduleno=35351

I do not know if it is any good, however - anybody?
