Hi,

Since returning from work last night, I find my CM service not working. Tried resetting the CM at various times during the evening, and again this morning. Cable modem (Surfboard 3100) shows all the proper lights etc. but my router is not being given an IP by it - tried calling support late last night, but was put off by the "90 people in a queue waiting 25 minutes message".

Just wanted to see if this was either;

1. Local to me
2. Local to my area

or somehting bigger?!?!? Any info from other peeps would be gratefully received :angel:

Typical - currently in the phone queue for support - message states that DN31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 & 37 have a current local fault - WHY DON'T NTL PUT THAT ON THE FLIPPIN WEBSITE UNDER SERVICE STATUS!!!:mad:

Never mind, at least I know it's my area and not just me! Share the pain...

If you're in DN34, surely you should change your location to North East Lincolnshire ;)

I work in the DN31 area and have seen a few NTL vans flying around here today.

Finally back again, after two days without net access. Do ntl give refunds for not providing service?

mine is ok - DN35, but I have only tried since getting home from work, so it may have been recently fixed???

- I notice the Nottingham proxies are still off, though (not complaining, mind ;) )
