I find speed tests very inaccurate and always check my speed using another method.

This is what i got from the speed test here...

I'm subscribed to Newshosting and i use Bandwidth Monitor Pro (http://www.bandwidthmonitorpro.com/) which gives me a perfect indication of what speed i'm getting.

I always max out with Newshosting with a smooth line on BMP. :)

I was told a couple of weeks ago that the speed tests you find now are really only for links up to 1meg and anything over that gives you a false reading.
http://www.mirror.ac.uk/mirror/ftp.fi.debian.org/debian-cd/3.1_r2/i386/iso-cd/
try down loading one of the files, the transfer rate will give you the best speed test.

Yes that's the best thing to do. :)
