Hi all

I had recent need to disconnect my shower whilst tiling..........problem is on reconnection it does not seem to be working right !

The is power there but the water is cold until I turn the temperature to maximum when it then comes out boiling hot and I have to turn it down...........any ideas why the heating only kicks in on maximum temperature ???

Many thanks

Mike

What type of shower?

Electric instantaneous thingy, thermostatic mixer valve permanently plumbed to a hot water cylinder / cold tank?

I have a electroni all singing all dancing unit. After disconnection, you have to bleed the air out prior to starting.

You didn't have to take the dial off the temperature controller did you? If so did you put it back on properly so that it's pointing to the right setting?
