I have a "new" pc and have loaded Outlook 2002 (via MS XP Office). I have set up my pop3 mail account as I did before in Outlook ie pop.ntlworld.com and smtp.ntlworld.com. I have the correct user name, passwords etc. Pop3 incoming port SSL is set to 110 and outgoing SMTP port SSL is set to 25.

Error message as follows - "Log on to incoming mail server (POP3): The specified server was found but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct. To access these settings close this dialog, then click More Settings, then the Advanced tab."

Underneath the same message but prefixed by "Send test e-mail message"

I have no idea why this is happening. HELP !!!
