im having ping problems to online games servers
as i have said in another thread
i was looking around in my computer properties and network properties
and found this
in my network connection status of my NTL connection, support tab, details
i found this "Physical Address" it looks like my NTL modems MAC address but the last number is differant then the my modems MAC address
my modems MAC address ends with .88 but this one ends with .89
is this "Physical Address" supposed to be my MAC address???
if so could this be interfering with my connection??

The physical address (or MAC address) that Windows reports is the one it sees as the Network Interface Card. If you're using USB, the Cable Modem emulates an Ethernet card, using a MAC address one number higher than the modem's internal MAC, so what you're seeing is perfectly normal.
