Hey i got up this morning was only for a hour or so and suddenly i got disconnected. I thought nothing of it as it does this ocasioanly so i unplugged modem and router and restarted it all. Now nothing is working all the correct lights are on on the modem and the router.

Anyway of fixing this? Or do i have to contact telewest?

Many thanks

:welcome:

If the lights are correct on the modem it suggests that it is still locked onto it's signal, however it may still be fubard.

Can you connect from the pc to the router properly? if you go to the routers configuration page, does it give you a WAN (or external) ip address? Does this start 169 or with something else?

Your problem is between the PC and the modem.
Look for the ip address
It should solve the issue
