Phone problem. [Archive]

Morning,

I have an ntl VS2000 system. This morning, for no apparent reason (on all three handsets) I am getting a flashing 'AUTO'. My dialling tone has turned into an engaged tone, consequently I can't dial out. Nor can I access an incoming call! Help! Any suggestions?

Is the main unit still plugged into a working power supply?

Thanks Neil,
Yes, power supply ok and no evidence of power cuts during the night. I've taken the batteries out of all handsets and reloaded but it goes straight to 'AUTO'. Wierd or what?

Success! I disconnected and re-connected base power supply and that did the trick. Cheers!
