If you could choose the attributes of your ideal partner what would they be (In order of importance)
Here are mine
1. Intelligent enough to hold a reasonable conversation
2. Mild mannered
3. Sense of Humour (they would need it)
4. Liked Sports
5. Had hobbies other than "Going to the pub to get drunk"
6. Dress sense not to expose half their body.
7. Ability to manage money/Finances
I cant and will not say looks because thats subjective....

1) Looks (and I'm very picky, and shallow-did I mention that?):shrug:

however...she could have loads of #1 and if she didn't have #2 then she wouldn't be in with a chance.
(#2 also implies that she has all the rest- sense of humour etc....)

you wont find a perfect partner there maybe actions that both parties hate about each other
but you must work together if the relationship is there to last for a long time maybe for the rest of your life then you have to really look each other and think are we going to be happy together ?

Perhaps the looks change abit, perhaps the weight changes a bit but all the rest is still just as good and maybe even better.
EDIT: and she's not a partner, that belongs in a business or in crime not a life. She's a wife.

dont think i have an idea partner - seems a bit odd to me having a mental clip board ticking things off when you meet someone.
im pretty laid back - as those who have met me know - if i like someone, i like them and without a concious thought try to get to know them better.
id never not consider someone because they didnt match some ideal in my head......
