View Full Version : Well we've hit December ...
So what state is you're shopping in ...
You could also post any amusing shopping stories ....
Sussed out *most* of mine in Nov by mooching around online, bought some in London on Saturday, some in Kingston yesterday, & the rest will be purchased online. :)
Not done any yet. Not planning to do much much. We have a pact to not give presents. (except for the kids of course)

None - I haven't brought one present yet & I donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t know what to buy anyone (HELP lol) :) :( :)
All the family buying is done; we had some professional portraits done of the boy, so they're all getting photos of him. Just got to sort out Mrs Towny now, so I'm off to town as soon as I've finished my lunch.
I've nearly done all of it already, which is not like me at all.
And so far, I've got everything off the internet :) I LIKE!!!!

Tread carefully.... "We won't buy each other prezzy's this year" can mean "I want a nice surprise prezzy"
[Edit]:
BTW, I do mine on christmas eve. It's the best way. Compact all the stress and queues into one day rather than spreading it over a few weekends!

Aaaargh noooooo !! The dreaded "Here's a pic of our newest / youngest / all of us !"
Yeh, you know that one that only comes out when "they're" visiting !! ;)
:smokin:
90% done - just a couple left - we started in June btw !
Well, I have decided what I am going to buy all you lovely people on the forum.

I can't believe they have only five copies left at Amazon............who would be sad enough to buy this.
well i know what i am buying everyone....except for dad because he is a nightmare to buy for, but i have some ideas....may be probing the minds of some of my male friends soon though....
i am heading off into town on saturday to buy my nephew's birthday pressie and buy xmas cards......and think about starting my xmas shop, but as i stated in the vote i am skinted and waiting till i get paid to buy the bulk of the pressies, although i think maybe i will be doing a bit of online/catalouge/type thing buying, because i seriously do not have the time to do any shopping anymore.....(darn the job but woohoo to the cash at the end of the month :p)
i'm getting a whopping pay packet on the 31st of December so I'm taking everyone to the sales. :D in the meantime they get one big pressie on the day.
Incog. :wavey:

Mine's all done, was done by mid Oct. Some was done online too, places like www.iwantoneofthose were a great help :)
Needed to get mine done as I will early next week, be leaving for 4 weeks holiday in California :)
Waaaaaaaa no broadband in the mountains and dialup is rarely better than 28.8. :grind: Still dont expect to be online that much.
Still have to deliver the prezzies to family and friends over here though.
Have fun all, in that last mad dash at the malls for gifts.
well i was going to start a thread and see how many had finished their pressie buying, but i remembered this thread nemmy started ages and ages ago and thought i would bring it back to life.......
after work today i spent about half an hour running round the shops and managed to get most of mine done, i have three four pressies to buy tomorrow, all of which i know what i am getting and where i am getting them..... i am one of these people who has to be in the mood for wondering aimlessly around the shops and xmas time is definately not going to put me in that mood...
so who, like me, has left their shopping to the last minute?
