No phone - South Manchester.

Hi, I'm in South Manchester (M33) and havn't had phone since about 7 o'clock last night.

Are there any known issues or anything??

No dial tone or anything - the bills DD

Unplug all your phones apart from a corded phone in the master socket and then try dialling out, also try ringing your home number to see if it rings or just cuts off. On quite a few occasions I spoke to customers who had NDT and it turned out to be either an extension phone off the hook or a cordless phone playing up. It could of course be a genuine fault but I'd give the above a try first.

Tried unplugging all - makes no difference. It seems like the phones aren't getting any power from the line either.

Think my dad called NTL earlier, but to no avail.

Just for those who like to know outcomes;

Technition came out today (damn quick) and messed about with the box. Think someone got into there and did something....

Anywho, all is good now :)
