Sure regulars of... remember me that is before I was banned, so I waited for the 'UnBan Daniel H' campaign, but it didn't look as if anyone was going to start it so I just re-registered under a new name 'Daniel Lee' which I was questions by CJ, "are you Daniel H" to which I replied NO.
Anyway nice to have a place to talk free of censorship!

I dont think their was any censorship really on nthw.com. I do think that the moderating the mods did was forced on them by nthw. It would be nice if they appeared here sometime but I doubt that will happen until ntl have the guts to completely shut nthw.com, which will just benefit us. lol, dumbasses, did they really think the nthw.com members would go for that pr garbage? Poor Frank having to post that.

Retired Social Worker in my latest "incarnation" but was in international sales and marketing for 20 years before seeing the light.
First computer I programmed was one of the original ICL 1900 series ones that even pre-dated decimal currency. I now live in a small flat that would have fitted into that Mainframe with room to spare and have a wris****ch with more processing power than it had. :)
Should be interesting to see how this site develops and will try my best to continue to mix helpfullness with constructive critisism of NTL when I feel it is appropriate and praise when its due.
LOL had to come back and comment on the bad word filter will obviously need to "watch" what i type now :)

NTL customer since March 2003, 600K BB would have been February if NTL got their finger out and actually installed on install day!
And NO it not my real name. Live in Reading; work in Slough and occasionally Ireland (Limerick, Cork and Dublin).
Internet user since the days YOU paid BT around £17.50 per month for an ISP (no inclusive connection time) and then paid for 0845 access at 14.4K! Around 1993? Hey that's ten years on-line, doesnââ‚ƚ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t time fly?
Still use GSM at 9K6 and 28K8, satellite one way at 300K occasionally, but now mainly NTL 600K at home and slow '300K' at work and 28K8 out of the office.

The ntl community site may well be useful for official help, but most of the time all that is needed is a bit of advice. Time to reset my homepage too.

You would not believe some of the things I have removed from washing machines. Dog leads, kitchen knives, false teeth, bottle openers, £500 solid gold necklace, watches and millions of the usual suspects, coins and bra wires.
The best one ever was when I was still working for Hotpoint many years ago and was called out to a twin tub, down the side of the spin drum was a Dinky toy, a large wooden spoon and the top from a torch plus two batteries, its a long story, see if you can work it out.;)

Been an ntl customer for 4 years, 600K BB, Family Pack despite recent price hike (our 3 year old would never forgive me if we stopped getting Nick Jr).
Mainly lurked on the .com site - always found lots of useful info there though - hope this turns out to be the same.
Dropped in on Friday - saw the Community thread and then spent most of the afternoon clicking on Refresh to see when this site would appear.

Long time "lurker" on the .com and many other forums.
NTL 1Mb (multiple PC's and 100Mb switched network running behind a Linux firewall/router) and two NTL phone lines (Sky TV as NTL's TV sucks) been on NTL for 3 years or so now.
I work as a third line technical support specialist for another ISP so am happy to help technically if I ever can.

I do not work at ntl anymore. Some of you will already know why. Some of you will not. Needles to say i am not really welcome to post on the .com site anymore (by ntl i might add, not the mods/admins), So i was glad to see this site 'Rise out of the ashes', so i can start posting again.
I was a senior tech at ntl on the internet side so i can help out with anything that it internet and modem related (Just like the old days, eh!!!)
Anyway enough drivel.....

To answer your question Bill Payer....I was not justified as 2 wrongs do not make a right (my mothers old saying not mine). If you recieved the email i sent, was it news to you or did you already know :p
