Right I need some new shades what does anyone recommend? Just started driving and need some that are going to be comfortable to wear and also modern/stylish.

They do not need to be prescription and my budget is £40ish, dont want to spend a long but want some fairly decent ones.

Remember it's the whole package, so no - you don't and can't look cool in Armani glasses whilst driving a clapped-out Fiesta circa turn of the century :D

Getting back to sunglasses ...
I wear Bloc shades, which fit nicely into your budget (£30-40). Their website is here (http://www.bloceyewear.com/) and you can find them in Blacks outdoor stores.

Ok well £40 means you can forget any of the Armani and other fashion ones.
But thinking about it, you can probably find a good pair that will look just like an Armani one for about £30.
Check out Burtons or Debenhems. They often have some.

Boots usually have a good range of sunglasses.

For that kind of price range, you might want to check out the little stalls they have in shopping centres- usually good quality and quite cheap too.

I notice one has just popped up in the centre i work in today, so must be the season for it :Sun:

I got some from Boots last year for £22.99, they have been the best pair of glasses I've ever had, they are comfy and not heavy on your nose.
