Is a pink t-shirt on a man a no-no? Like for example a Nike pink fluffy one designed to be worn by men.

You should set-up a poll... this would be interesting.

Can yiou make it a public one, if you do it, so we can see who votes what ;)

My :2cents: is that any pink clothing is a nono on blokes!

I wear a pink shirt to college sometimes - seems to go down quite well tbh.

Spose it depends how you wear it - for example if you tucked the bottom of the shirt up back up in to the collar area so it vaguely resembles a bra then that's definately a bit suspect.

Yeah, but with my shaved head and muscular shoulders/chest and arms it certainly gave off the wrong impression.

Perhaps you should consider shaving off the moustache as well?

That was the first thing to go. I'm keeping the pierced belly button though (yes I do actually have one).

Pink is a good colour - goes well with brown (pale pinks) or black (stronger pinks). No reason why a bloke shouldn't wear pink. I have a couple of lovely pink shirts for work - wear them on Fridays :D

And the cowboy's left hand is in a very convenient position....:erm:

I think it depends on a few things.... The man needs to be able to pull it off, it's a good idea if it compliments his colour etc..
Also depends on the style, i think a casual pink t-shirt is better than a formal pink shirt, but again, it always depends.

I think a man wearing a pink shirt can be a sign of how secure he is with his masculinity.
I get more worried when macho wanabes are horrified at the thought of wearing a 'girl' colour, because that says to me that they have some issues with proving their manlyness (-real word?!:erm:)

Depends on the guys build IMO. If you short and skinny - it's a no-no. My other half has a pink t-shirt and he looks gorgeous in it. But then he is 6'4" and 16 stone, so he does have the ability to carry it off without looking to feminine.

LOL, with that build he could wear a pink Tu-Tu and not look feminine :dozey:  :D

Women are like snow flakes - no they are not cold and make you miserable when they appear - they are all unique and completely different from one another. Some women like it, some don't. If you're trying to develop a catch-all rule it will never work. You just need to experiment with every individual girl.

If you aren't bothered about looks - by far the best way to live - then just do as you feel, wether its consider a no-no or not.

Wearing pink can feminise a guy (which can be good or bad depending on the girl), but if its bad, then it can be offset by enhancing the guy's overall look. Anyway, I hoped this wouldn't be an issue anymore. I hoped the metrosexual movement died out years ago.

However as a side point, t'other half disagreed with me when I said pink is an exclusively female colour, which suprised me. When you think of pink, what do you think of?

I personally would not where anything pink. I just think it's a dull light colour and I dont think it looks nice on men.
However, a friend of mine (female), wears lot's of pink and it looks very nice on her. So I think its more a female colour.

Yep you are right..Seems to have descended into a 'is it alright for blokes to wear pink thread' though.:)Yeah... I thought that was the purpose of the original question?!? Is a pink t-shirt on a man a no-no? FWIW, I checked my wardrobe again last night, just to make sure, but I didn't find anything pink... I have a light purple-ish shirt, and a Bordeaux-coloured shirt, but nothing that is pink.

Very few blokes can get away with it, imo. Don Johnson just about managed it back in the 80's, but that's about the only example I can think of for the moment.
