Anyone currently on this service?

According to their site and that samknows thing, it'll be enabled in my area in April (end of most likely) and it'd be great if anyone could tell me how they are :)

Also, as the thing is enabled i assume that means i can use any ADSL high speed connection service, so is there another i should also consider?

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks in advance :)Sorry, not using it... ADSL sux0rs where I live, so NTL is my choice of ISP.

However, I don't think that just because Be offer you this level that you'd be free to choose any other provider. It could be the case that your exchange has only been upgraded by Be, and that other providers haven't added their dslam kit to the exchange. Saying that, most of the providers tend to upgrade the same exchanges (ie the most profitable ones) so you may be in luck.

Am using ADSL.

You can take any one of over 200 ISPs who supply via BT, and there are also a few ISPs who install their own kit in exchanges, and as you've looked in Samknows you should have the picture of what you can and can't take.

If Easynet have unbundled your exchange you also have the option of the upto 22Mbit from UKOnline as well as Be's service, and there are also as of the end of March options via BT up to 8Mbit.

Check http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/ where you can meet a number of Be customers.

No. Frustratingly for me, they updated their website to show my exchange as being upgraded by Be in April, then apparently cancelled the upgrade as the site is now showing thet the exchange may be upgraded in the future.

One thing to watch out for: I know a few people who live in Be enabled areas, and they seem to be having trouble getting Be to come and install the lines (Be keep cancelling).

Look on Samknows. It'll tell you which companies have enabled ADSL in your exchange. Those ISPs that don't use LLU (most of them) just buy bandwidth from BT.

Be is already available here, which shocked me.
I don't think many people know about them though :(
