stoke connection probs

is anybody else having broadband connection problems in stoke on trent?
it's been off at about 1:00 for about 45 minutes and it's lost connection for a few minutes several times today (12/03/06) but theres nothing listed on the service status page.

all fine (so far) here in Newcastle under Lyme mate! But the baguley proxy that we are on is a bit shoddy at the best of times - and we are definitely getting traffic shaping methinks!
