Anyone here done a TEFL course?

Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this...

I have a friend who is interested in doing a TEFL course (I'm interested too really to be honest) but she needs to know further information on the course (price, hours required etc). She wants to do it locally, so in the Wirral area. Has anyone done this course? Can it be done on a part time basis? Any thoughts from anyone who has this qualification would be very gratefully received.

does your friend has any idea what country she wants to teach in?

Some companies offer on the job tefl, or a course fee which includes XX months guaranteed work in XX country...
