No straight man could pick a ring that gorgeous by himself ;)

He got a (girl) friend to come with him :)

But you've got nothing to fear - if there was anything going on she'd have picked you this (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2304508/Trail/C%24cip%3D35755.Jewellery%2Band%2Bwatches%3EC%24ci p%3D35791.Rings%3EC%24cip%3D35795.Wedding%2Brings. htm) ;);):):):)

Just don't pick the first day of the football season like Twin Nug did :nono:

Just like me, the entirety of Sister-in-Law Nugs family support Villa, who were playing at home. Most of the reception consisted of various people nipping to the bar to get the scores (it's alright though, 'cos she didn't notice ;) )

I wouldn't mind, but to cap it all off, they only bloomin' lost to Portsmouth - I've told Twin Nug that he's not allowed to get married again (not while she was there, obviously :D )

As someone who got married in August, I would have to agree. :D

OB, I'm really glad to see you both are getting on and doing it rather than remaining perpetually 'engaged'. IMO marriage is a big, serious commitment that you should either do or not do, not swither about.

Will you post a pic of your big day once you get them? :)

I firmly believe that the phrase is 'engaged to be married', not just 'engaged'. And he asked me if I'd marry him, not get engaged to him. When people ask about it, I state that I'm 'getting married' - not that I'm 'engaged' - it really irritates me when people go for 'long engagements'... what's the point? We wanted a summer wedding, but didn't want to wait til next summer, so this summer it is. Obviously, it couldn't clash with the World Cup. :D
