Hi to all, :waving: does anyone own \ use this phone ? and if so have you found any GOOD sites for freebies to d\l, ( software and ring tones ) I have googled to the cows come home :banghead: found bits and pieces but nothing spectacular :(

Also any cheap data transfer cables kicking about ?? any :idea: :idea: will be much apprieciated.

Data Cable - nope all seem to be £25.

You could consider getting a bluetooth dongle for your PC though. No need to plug in and has more future uses.

You could also use the infra red, but then, if you're using a desktop then it probably won't have an IR port and they're probably more expensive (the USB - Infrared thingies) than a Bluetooth dongle.

edit: All the ring tones are plain midi files, billions of them available freely all over the place.

EDIT- managed to find a cable for 18.00 so off to buy it and have some fun :)... ( sad i know :shrug: ) thanks again

Sorry for going on and on :p :shrug: but found this site with loads of stuff ONLY for the sony ericsson T610 if you've got and want free stuff go take a look see here (http://forum.myt610.net/) :)

EDIT .. they do have links and stuff to other brands \ makes of phones :)

Would suggest computer markets/fairs for data cables would not expect to pay more than £10 or £5 for any type.

I'm still waiting for my first new mobile in years, so not had one that does anything fancy yet, but got a Motorola V300 coming so I'm like a child right now :D
