Mine has. Since I got a new 250 modem to replace the 120 it's been fine.

NOPE!!! Speed Tests indicate only getting 6-7Mb/s, Which is appalling!
I hope they sort it soon!!!

Oh yeah its terrible they have doubled the speed and dropped the price

How do they sleep at night etc. etc.

If you don't like it you know where the door is.

well from going from 3mb too 10mb for free and £3 less a month is quite good, but i do agree it aint as stable as it used too be when on 3mb .as for the 75 gig were capped on thts not right too me,as we are paying the most for the fastest speed we should alll get unlimited as 2 and 1 mb do.

It does appear they are working on the situation - Nedkelly said Lincoln was changing to 256 QAM. I know myself I am not lossing anymore like was not so long ago.

Right, thats it... back to 2meg at the end of the month.... getting bad pings in the US and heaps of packet loss (something I didn't get much of on 2mb) plus.. loads of things that need to be sent/recieved via ftp... I can't be doing with this at all....
fiancees 'World of Borecraft' crashes without warning... I'd rather save the money and have a good steady 2mb connection.

6mbit isnt great but its not that bad either, their are people who were getting sub 2mbit speeds thats what I call bad.

256qam increases downstream right? is this something been rolled out nationally?

I have 10mb on a Terayon modem and it runs perfectly (unless bittorrent is running for ages then i need to turn off the program to view web pages) it normally works fine though for most things.

I have noticed my ping creeping up slightly in games but not enough to cause any problems with my online experience :D

I was getting 2-3Mb on an STB then changed to a ntl 250 SACM a couple of weeks back and am getting 7-9mb. I think the speeds on the STB were expected, as is the current speed on my SACM, so I don't know if there's any improvement or not.

One thing I will say though is that in the last week I've started to have problems with receiving a few TV channels on the STB, in particular ITV and expecially in the evenings. Could the new 10Mb connection affect the TV signal in any way? If it can then things have got worse from my point of view.

First couple of months it was great, I had a Terayon and was still getting about 8-8.5MB. Everything ran great. Last few months, have definately gone downhill in a big way...
Constant disconnections...
Speed flucuations... (sometimes as low a 1.5MB)
High ping responses... (especially online gaming)
Browsing problems...

I've since had my modem replaced for a 250, the browsing and speed problems now seem to have gone, but I'm still getting high pings all over the place...
